Introduction to Yoga. What are the benefits of doing Yoga?

Yoga is something that needs explaining partly because there are so many misconceptions about yoga. It's not about bending yourself into a pretzel shape, although it does have many physical benefits it changed my body. Through my practice it will make you longer, leaner more flexible, but it also changes the way you see the world. We're able to see the world with more clarity and it allows our minds to be less affected by the fluctuations in life. It turns your body, it comes your mind and you see the world more.
Yoga comes from India and in the last century, it’s come over to the west where it's evolved to fit more into the modern western lifestyle. You don't need to be flexible to start yoga. Yoga will help improve your flexibility whether you're someone who is flexible or someone who's not so flexible. You’ll find that you learn to listen to your body and you'll improve your flexibility in your little joints through to your bigger joints such as your hips and your shoulders. So altogether yoga will make you feel more comfortable throughout your life.

We don't need equipment to yoga all you actually need is yourself wearing comfortable clothes in bare feet. The amount equipment you can use for yoga will vary depending on your teacher and the style of yoga in which you're doing. The basic prerequisite is a sticky mat. We can also use props such as blocks which we can sit on. Also, extras like pillows for covering your eyes allow you to become more inward focused, less distracted. So there's any number of hops that are available to buy your yoga practice but to start with your left hand need yourself under sticky mat. Talk to your teacher about what he advises.
There are many different types of yoga some of which will be more fashionable than others at any particular time. So terms that you may have heard of my include Bikram Yoga, Hot Yoga, or Ashtanga Yoga. These are more physically demanding types of yoga. There is also an Anger Yoga which is more alignments based. Yoga ranges from gentlemen therapeutic yoga to more dynamic physically demanding types of yoga. The important thing to do is to find a yoga style that's accessible for your body and a class time that suits you.
Yoga can help improve flexibility, can help improve strength and improve a lot of sports performance. That also overlaps when we go more inward because the other can help with your focus it can help you remain calm under stress. It can help improve your interpersonal relationships. It will improve your sleep. It can put out to improve the choices that you make in life so generally by doing yoga you'll often find that your life changes. You feel better on the inside and you feel and look better on the outside.
